Please Pick Up After Your Pet

Dear Valencia on the Lake Homeowner(s),

Picking up after your pet isn’t just a courtesy, it’s the healthy and environmentally sound thing to do. Besides being unsightly and smelly, animal waste can be hazardous to the health of our children who play in the community and other pets.

When walking your furry friend in our community, remember that they should be leashed and don’t forget to take along a baggie to pick up waste with and then dispose of it properly. As a reminder, pet stations with bags and collection receptacles are provided by the HOA for your convenience as well as providing maps indicating the locations within the community.

By taking a few simple steps to clean up after your pet, you can contribute not only to the beautification of Valencia on the Lake community, but also towards the elimination of one of the most irritating nuisances in our community. Keep in mind that if you are spotted not cleaning-up behind your pet, you are in violation of the community’s guidelines (CCR’s _ Section 2.5 d) along with city ordinance and will be cited and/or fined as such.
